Trench-coat mafia: the Devil's Advocates?

What is happening to youths these days?
Why is there a sudden outburst of evil and sinister acts?
Why has it crossed the boarder into Canada--into my own province of Alberta?
What has gone so wrong in the universe or is it in ourselves?...just a few
bad eggs crack to reveal the nature of human behavior.
This is a cycle. It's not because of the lastest fashions, or the new types
of music that parents think are *bad*, or the violence on tv and in movies.
It begins with parents, not necessarily the parents of this generation, but somewhere
back up the family tree the seed was planted. Parents are the ones to instill values
and morals or tell us that we are better than everyone else because we have more of everything.
Jocks come from jocks. Nice kids come from nice parents. Intelligent people were exposed
to more things as they grew up. Bad apples fall from bad trees. I'm not saying this is true
for every single person out there but it is a noticeable trend.
And blaming people, for instance Goths, will not solve anything. Scapegoating something you don't
understand is evil in itself. Goths are misunderstood by alot of people. Black is just a color
of clothing prefered, someone else's favorite color could be blue and that's all they wear. Goths
seem to be almost feared from where I come from. Store clerks watch with eagle-eyes, elderly persons gock
and stare in fear of thier pakages being ripped from thier arms. People are generally mean to Goths and
that is prejudice my friend.

To put it simply, I agree.
Totally and completly. Though I don't mind the looks.
I know who I am, and what I am and what they
think doesn't mean a whole lot to me. I can remember when
I was as distressed....It does get better.

I think these kids were outcasts because they didn't fit into what was the accepted norm. You might say that's
not surprising because they were psychopathic murderers, but maybe they wouldn't have been if they had been
accepted more. Plus I think the gun laws over there are crazy anyway.

Prejudice is hate and hate is fear and fear is ignorance and there is no excuse for ignorance.
Other than a closed mind and those are that which creates the aforementioned series!
Also, over hear (North America, Colorado in fact) is not the only bastion of hate and terrorism and dead humans and ignorance and fear. I think that pretty much exists to some extent everywhere.
My primary goal in life is to diminish the total of ignorance in the human race.
Someday could it reach zero?
