Slightly Scilly Party

It was a week of unrestrained and thoroughly committed sitting-around-on-beaches, eating-of-fresh-fish, drinking-of-fine-wines-and-beers, pootling-about-amongst-islands-in-a-boat, guffawing with good friends, and saving-up-of-hyphens.
I'm brown, fit, healthy and wide-eyed again. Did I mention brown?
I also took 2 hours of quality video footage and about 320 photos with my new DVcam, which is, to understate it massively, exceptionally fine. Now to bore the bejeezus out of my parents with the 'Director's (un)Cut'.
I'd say it's nice to be back, but I'm afraid nothing except an anarcho-cynicalist cyber-arsonist can hold a candle to real life...

Yes indeed - my first visit there, as a guest of someone who's spent most of his childhood living on St. Mary's. Absolutely beautiful place, and lovely, friendly people.
One of the best holidays I've had, I think - sorry you missed yours.

Jammy You
I'm very jealous, we used to go every year when I was little...
My parents went this year while I was away, we always stay on St Martins

I didn't manage to get to St. Martin's this time - it was the only large island that we missed out, I think. Next time, though.
When (or, more likely, 'if') I'm a millionaire, I'm definitely buying a yacht. Great life.
