Okay, so i may have overloaded myself with work, but as of now, i'm on a college course learning puter programming (VB and Pascal)..... as well as my normal school stuff.....
BTW, the new chnges in h2g2 are certainly an improvement over the previous system... particularly the page editing, and the forum replying thing.....
Well done TPTB!

I just started a course in learning Pascal today.
If you ask me, it's pretty useless. Written 20 years ago, for students (like us), and run in DOS it isn't any good for actually doing anything. I wanna learn C++, Java or something worthwhile. Oh well, I guess it's a start...

Sorry to interrupt, guys. I just wanted to say hello to Madmunk. How's it going? It's certainly been a while.
Jimi, does the X stand for what i hope it stands for?

By the way, i haven't actually been on h2g2 in a while, either. What changes has this tequila made?

T: Hi there, long time no type... yes, pascal was written a while ago, but from what i've heard, it's a good language to start on, and (supposedly) is very versatile language.... C++ (and java) is something i've always wanted to get into, so i've bought myself a book.... Hmm... maybe i'll be good in a year or two... who knows....
Shaquan: It's been a while for you too, where've ya been all this time??... Anyway... the guide's had a revamp, and now there's stuff like password access, more don't panic pages... and most importantly of all, you can actually delete unwanted user pages.... Most of the major new stuff is shown here: http://www.h2g2.com/A157457

Munky: I've just downloaded a type of pascal free off the 'net. It should be usefull for gettting a head start...
I'll find the address, if you want.
P.S. You can now hear The Pregnants for yourself, by the way. www.darcsytes.demon.co.uk (ah! A plug!).

Listening to Bob Marley, before the devils rob me.
Sorry, that's a lyric i just heard on a rap.
On my mind? Well, just that you might have named yourself after Monsieur James hendriX. Maybe i'm a prat. Sorry.
Mad, how was UAE? how was the summer. Me? Oh, i've been away for a while. I was on h2g2 for just a few weeks, every day, but then i went to venice with my school, and when i got back i couldn't get back into the swing of it. Then i went to france for two weeks, thenm Cornwall, and learnt to surf, and got a tan, and lost weight, and got taller, and got a sore throat.
I'vbe found my purpose in life - surfing.
Yeah, so anyway, i've only got back into the swing of things in the last hour. I might change my name, or chuck bugsy and shaquan in the bin and reinvent myself. Enough about me, how are you?

The "Jimi X" experience is an old gag from when I worked at a summer job at an amusement park...
Though I have been known to play the guitar, never left-handed on a right-handed axe...
