Dream Within...

Working out the details,
I’m lost on the ride.
Looking out for something
And somewhere to hide.
One moment is fleeing,
Another has come,
The seconds are flying
And leaving me numb.
A glance at the curtain
And I can not move.
I’m waiting for someone
Or something to prove.
My chances are leaving,
They're calling me out.
My heart starts to wonder,
My mind starts to doubt.
I’m lost in the alley
Of dark and despair.
I’m silently praying
That someone is there.
The shadows pass by me,
My hand starts to shake.
The voices are calling
And slowly I wake.
