They are predicting up to 15 inches by tomorrow and the wind chill is expected to hit negative 30 farenheith by tonight.

I had to come to work today and I also have to come in tomorrow since I volunteered to be an alien in our annual big company meeting. I wasn't going to volunteer, but then they mentioned "compensation" and I pushed my way to the head of the line. So basically I have to slog through miles of snow tomorrow to play an alien.

However, as I've pointed out to bubster, hot chocolate and popcorn certainly make the day much easier.

She DID! She DID point that out to me, and now that IO have read it again I KNOW that it must be TRUE!

We don't get blizzards here, consequently I don't get to dress like an alien for compensation.

Some hemispheres have all the luck.

I did it. I was an alien. I didn't give myself a name or anything, but I did boogie entirely down.

By the way it's also still icky and freezing and snowy here.

It's true. Why does my boss get to spend two days at home in a huge house with his family and I'm going to work?? It's wrong.

Did you know that they showed Chicago on our news last night and boy-howdy was there a lot of snow! Yes there was. It was rhetorical. Not the snow, the question. And an airplane slid off the icy runway an' everything. Also, people in Michigan were not allowed to drive their cars. Is that because they have bad drivers in Michigan? I just don't know.

Needs me some hot chocolates and popcorns and counterfeit aliens...
