h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hmmmm... Today i entered a contest and lost but no biggie cuz i was a last-second replacement. Also half of my classmates left for florida today after school, so tomorrow should be interesting, to say the least.

Here's an awkward social moment: I was late going home from school today when i did a double take on a help wanted sign of a store i was passing by. As I turned around I saw a classmate of mine had been walking behind me for a while. Then he passed me by without even acknowledging my existence! I thought, "well, two can play at that game, buster. I INVENTED that game." and so I walked behind HIM for two blocks until we reached the train station and then a I passed right by him without acknowledging HIS existence. Yeah, I sure showed him whom he was dealing with!



I'm such a doofus

Sounds kinda familiar... usually when you decide to ignore people because they ignored you, the concequence is - suprisingly! - that they keep ignoring you, and then after some time the whole thing gets awkward.


I really try to always say hello to people. Even people I don't know. It's a bit strange at first, but the baffled expression on their face when they try to understand if they know you is worth it...
