Well it's a funny old time up here at Rhubarb Towers. This weekend sees my parents last weekend in blighty. The jammy beggars are retiring to Spain next week and so the family are getting together tonight for a last meal and many glasses of
Oh and of course a last opportunity to pilfer stuff that they aren't taking with them to Spain
To add to this craziness I've also been spending this week getting ready for my big move next week. After spending the last 18 months living with an old mate of mine from Uni it's time to head on to pastures new (well 7 miles down the road to be honest).
Promises to be interesting to say the least as for the first time I’m moving into a shared house with complete strangers! the guys I’m moving in with seem like nice folks and are hopefully not axe murderers, mind you it's probably them who should be worried about living with me I suppose .
Right time to go and pack some more boxes methinks

Good job your not using a removals firm, you might get a few questions asked with all those axes in strange packaging Good luck with the move; and don't forget the big advantage of your parents being over in Spain, is you can go visit whenever you want for a free hol in the sun my Father and his newish GF keep thinking about eloping from the country, though they've already said one of the main reasons for going would be to escape their children, and so they don't plan on telling us where they're going! have fun in the new house, hope the move goes seemlessly

Well preparing for the move seems to be going well so far, i've nothing left in my room now other than what i need for the week, however the dining room is now crammed full of stuff! (oh and the axes are cunningly disguised in a golf bag )
No chance of my parents hiding away from me in Spain (i went out there for a week last year) and i've already got christmas in Spain booked in with them, although i suspct work may not be so keen. ooh dear i feel a serious illness coming on for the end of december

ahh shikalitis, always guaranteed to strike at the most innoportune moments
the move has all gone very swimmingly, now living much closer to work and with a nice bunch of blokes.
Plus the not living with a mate and his girlfriend removes the old feeling like a single person pariah thingy
So how's you Genie?

I'm catching that on Wednesday of next week... (I'm getting my hair done!)
Didn't you know any 20 somethings who are not attached are considered lephers??
Glad everything has gone well, and less travelling time is always a bonus! Is a house not full of men farting, burping, pants dying on the radiators, beer and chese in the fridge and leaving smelly socks about?
I'm good thanks, got a couple of very busy months coming up, I'm trying to spend more time on here talking instead of ing quite so much!

Single 20 somethings are lepers , really you do surprise me
certainly explains a lot!
surprisingly 3 blokes in a house isn't all burping and farting (plenty of cheese in the fridge mind)
glad to ear yourdoing well and will definitely try to speak more over the coming months
