Companies are a drag. 
We're going through this painful placement process at the institute right now, and no company is shortlisting me
Oh well, this is just for an internship position during the summer, so no big deal.
Still, i mean, they should see the immense advantage they'd get by hiring me, you'd think. My first interview is probably tomorrow.
Let's have some prayers.

Well of course they should see the advantage of hiring you. That is, if the massive glow emanating from your body doesn't blind them first.
