Another long bank holiday.

Breakfast in bed..one of the nice things about my bank holidays. I usually get up at seven thirty to prepare breakfast for Hubby and daughter. I make their packed lunches, kiss them goodbye and then spend the next hour in the company of Radio four and a second and third cup of tea.

Only on specific days do I get treated to B in B. Mother's day, Christmas Day, my birthday and bank holidays.

This Sunday I had a tray thrust under my nose by daughter. On it...two slices of Nimble toast along with a pot of peanut butter and a pot of jam. She didn't know which I would prefer. Bless her. In exchange I directed her to the wardrobe where her choccie eggs were hiding in a tesco bag on a hanger.

I was also presented with a Sponge Bob Square Pants easter egg from Hub. There was a SBSP keyring in the box. Yay!!!!!!!!

Christmas is nice. Hub always makes me scrambled eggs with smoked salmon which I eat in a leisurely manner while the others are champing at the bit downstairs waiting for me to come down so they can tear the pressies open.

Got treated to lunch at Bro in law's too today. Took tin of date and banana flapjacks along to add to the scrumptious array of goodies in his kitchen.

All in all it has been a nice break this year. Still one more week of daughter's holiday to go. I will exact plenty of washing up and tidying out of her in return for wads of cash she needs for going out with her friends and rampaging around town. Got to get a stock of bandages and plasters tomorrow as she is learning to skateboard this week.
Writing.....ah yes...that's what I am supposed to be doing instead of rambling on. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......where did I leave that muse?
