Mr. X ---> "Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes!"

Yesterday I was listening to those old Marvin songs and one of them made a passing reference to his age. So in the shower this morning I was idly wondering just how old Marvin really is and I remembered that one of the books (I think it was So Long and Thanks for all the Fish) said that he was 3 times older than the universe itself. As you may or may not know, the universe is estimated to be about 14 billion years old, so that would make Marvin.........

Oh of course :P. However thats assuming he was talking about the current age of the universe at the time of speaking those words or the entire age of the universe itself...

I just can't help thinking of the quote "there is only one person in two hundred light years of here who is as intelligent as me and thats me".

Yeah, I thought of that. And if you'll recall, Marvin stays on Magrethea until the End of the Universe; but I decided that 42-billion was a lot more dramatic than 300-trillion.

There's something I've been wondering. How much do you learn about American history in Australian schools?
