Since the Sun dictates when noon occures I've come to the conclusion that any time of day, or nite, that you care to name, it's that time somewhere on the Earth. As an example, it is exacly 3:15pm somewhere if you read time by degrees of the Sun. Of course this statement totally ignores time zones. Furthermore, since it's 5:25am where I'm at, it must be 5:25 and some odd seconds a couple feet from where I sit and down the road it's 5:26am somewhere.
