KAT continues to be broken

My leg is still completely and utterly broken, which isn't right after 2 months. Sooooooooo.....I have to have ANOTHER operation in January called reaming, where they cut my leg open, go into the bone and irritate the inside of it to try and make it grow. I don't know what they'll do if that doesn't work. I'm incrediably scared.
Im also hanging in here by my fingernails but Im still here. We shall see whether that continues, whether I get myself out of it, or whether I just give in.
Oh and mam's just walked in the front door crying, when she went to work an hour ago. Id better go and sort her out

Kat , don’t worry that it won’t grow. You’re so young, I can hardly imagine that the bones of a young lady like you refuse to grow. They will grow, they just need some pushing and poking.
Don’t give up! *hugs*

And don't be scared
You'd be amazed what they can do, even with people who have weird bones like yours *shouts and gets annoyed at Kat's bones*

hi Kat,
Try not to feel afraid. The waiting is usually worse than the doing and it sounds like the next op will help get the problem sorted. No use worrying *now* that it might not work because it most likely will. So, if you can, just try to look forward to being better soon.

I was the same before I had an operation a few years ago. And it turned out that I worried for absolutely nothing. So, don't give in to scared and negative thoughts as these are just things you are imagining. You *could* also imagine that the op is going to go just fine and you'll be back to your old self shortly afterwards. So, why not try that? Yeah I know, easier said than done at times, but meanwhile, *do* rely on your friends to help keep your spirits up.

Oh I forgot to say why mam was crying.
She'd gone to work really worried that I was going to do something stupid, and had worried and worried and so had come home in tears to find me...perfectly fine, eating bread and marmite in the study.
It's funny though because recently she's been saying that I seem better and I've been doing more things and I'm actually possibly at my most dangerous...well except when I got squashed...that was probably slightly more dangerous...but you get the idea.
