h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Is difficult. I am working in this for three months now. I feel excluded , as I am the only woman in my team and all my coleague are nice and helpful but that is only when I approach for any help. Otherwise I am not part of their office jokes...football conversations, politics, office politics etc.. I am only good for conversation around weather.

May be the fact that i am a woman and from a diffrent culture which is percieved conservative inhibits them.

I tried to break ice cupple of times but it appears as if I am digging an iceberg as there is more ice benith the ice. Any suggesstions, advice on as how do i gate crash british male dominated team will be helpful.
