I listen to The Manic Street Preachers and wonder, why are they called this? Why do they preach? Why is there a manic street? Then I realise that it's all metaphorical, which explains everything. The word metaphorical is one of the most useful words in the English language, in my opinion. It can be used to explain almost anything. I used it here because what I really want is for someone to read this journal entry and reply to me saying: "It's not metaphorical you idiotic fool, they're called The Manic Street Preachers because..."
