Because you're looking in the wrong place. The Guide is less a guide than a Lucky Dip, IMO. You might find something useful in it or you may not. Haven't bothered with Usenet myself, but in case you're still interested after all this time, try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USENET - or Google it?

Liked your Song lyric posting, and specially liked your new article on sex and behaviour. The position you're putting forward was Freud's basic idea beneath psychoanalysis, so it has a good pedigree and you put it so clearly

It was through the Song Lyric thread. Then I read your article and enjoyed it very much.
