And Recumbentman, yes, Denys Parsons is the same guy who wrote those misprint books (I read them all when I was a kid).
His son Alan was the recording engineer on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and went on to lead his own prog rock band, the Alan Parsons Project:
