Ordinary! Day the Sixteenth
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Started conversation Nov 15, 2011
Today was an ordinary day, nothing much happened, I got up, I used my new toaster, I went to work, I picked a pallet and put it way, then I picked another pallet and put it away.
I teased the decorator Co-Ordinator about some promotional stock he got in, and made him put it away
We did so good putting stuff away, we ended the night early by half an hour, oh the joy
since I don't have much to say I will tell you about a customer from a few weeks ago...
in script form
Me = Me
SS = Speschul Snowflake (the ones that think they are better or above everyone else, and that the rules don't apply to them)
For background, I am in Replenishment, I often go to the box bays behind the registers to, well, put empty boxes in them for customers to reuse, as we don't offer plastic bags, I do not know how to use a register.
SS: You there, ring me through, I am in a hurry
Me: didn't think the lady was talking to me, so I kept turfing boxes into the bays.
SS: *raises voice*
Oi you Girl! Ring me through, I am in a hurry
Me: *blinks at being called a girl*
Er You'll have to go to one of the open registers, I am not a register operator
*I gesture about 6 metres away (about 18'),there is 3 registers open with only one or two people at each.*
SS: Nonsense, I don't have time to wait, just get on a register and ring me out!
Me: I'm sorry, but I work in replenishment, I don't know how to work a register....there are registers open just over there *gesture*
SS *getting very irate and haughty*
Nonsense! you are just lazy and don't want to put me through!
SS then literally throws the basket of goods to the ground and stomps out muttering about bad service...
The register operators, the people greeter, and myself all look at each other and are going to each other WTF? Was she serious? Did you see that?
We had a bit of a laugh and the night continued, and the world turned, and some one, some where, was sitting in the dark, as they had thrown their light bulbs on the ground, instead of purchasing them like a normal person

I wonder where else this person thought they'd get everything they needed in a hurry. Of course, what they really need isn't available at your store, it usually involves some sort of medical specialist.
