I know what you mean about Amazing Grace. It was played at my Grandads funeral and it choked me up. It sounded very moving and I hope the family is beginning to move on with this.

In reply to Stealthy, no, C is on remand for murder in a jail about 300kms away, this was a planned thing (although C didn't mean to kill B, he did set out to seriously hurt him) T not only lost B, she has 'lost' C as well
You could see PJ was trembling all through the playing, an it was really touching, I felt shivers all down my spine, especially when he laid his trumpet on the casket after he finished

I know what you mean
The worst funeral I've been to, was the one of my father in law, it's probably got much to do with how close you've been to the person who died, I was all in tears during the whole service, I never thought I would be
If you ask me, I've been to way too many funerals during the past few years, I really hope it'll take years before I have to go to the next one

update
C got 10 years yesterday, at his hearing (he pleaded guilty to 7 charges, including manslaughter and causing grievious bodily harm).Although he was 16 at the time of the incident, he was charged as an adult, and will serve his sentence in an adult jail. The 19 year old with him got 9 years, and the other 2 juveniles got 5 and 4 years apiece
T and E no longer live here in town, they left to get away from the memories, I have not heard from either of them for about 3 months, the phone number I had has been disconected.
