New Toy!!!!

Well im going to start using this as a diary, so here goes:
Set the Cheque off for a new microphone today! As a Blues Harmonica player, i didnt realise HOW important the right Mike is until I borrowed a friends mike at a Jam!
If you've seen 'The Blues Brothers', you have seen the type of thing i am talking about, the old fashioned, Bullet shaped things. The reason the they sound 'different' is because they use a crystal element to pick up the spund, rather than the more common magetic type, thus picking up different frequencies.
Put through a valve amplifier, rather than a transistor one, also helps the 'classic' blues tone.Thats next on my list!!
Ill add more when my new toy arrives!!!
