Urgh, you're reminding me of work today when I discovered that the tropical fruit juice in the vending machine went out of date in May

It's one of the ones where the juice is concentrated and mixed with water, so you'd have no idea of the use by date if you were using the thing. I was sent to clean the stock cupboard though and found all the tropical fruite juice was two months out of date .

Though I wasn't so lucky once. Got some from sainsbury's. Drank one carton, and it tasted somewhat fermented. A bit confused, as it was well within date, I drank the rest. Then I went away for the weekend, came back, and the other carton exploded . The whole batch was recalled, and I'd drunk a litre of the stuff . I've not drunk orange juice since

I did get nearly caught out once by a bottle of ketchup. Fortunately I noticed the dead maggots in it before using it, though it didn't help my appetite
