It was the RamSoc mystery walk - so a joke took us to about the flattest place there is! Consequently, I've spent the day walking around Skegness (and generally looking quite odd with my walking gear through the middle of a tourity seaside resort). It was very fun - we kept making jokes about the terrain - every ramp was a 'hill' or 'mountain', every bank was a 'grade 3 scramble'. We only walked for 8 miles, so had plenty of time left over to gaze at the North Sea and get sandy feet.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
