h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Bit of a dull day, really. Archery was cancelled as the hall was usurped by fencers, who had a competition. Watched the director's commentary for FOTR, which took all afternoon. The morning did happen, but most of it happened here.

Then we watched 'Robin Hood Prince of Theives', a bit of a university favourite, but spent most of it laughing at the cliches. Was good.

Were you watching the cartoon version of robin hood by any chance? It's amazing! Although I have to admite I love robin hood - men in tights.... It's fantastic

It was the film, not the cartoon, the one with Christian Slater and so on. The cartoon version's great though.

Well, it was the 6th really when I wrote up the journal, but only of about half an hour. I've ot plant science in the afternoon, 2-5, but I doubt it will last beyond 4.

I'm meant to get my exam results today (nooooooooo!), but they might not be up until late tonight, meaning that I will probably have to get them tomorrow.

Not seen Robin Hood - Men in tights. Will have to watch at some point.

Last Wednesday session was cancelled due to a badminton competition, but because there was no walk that week, I went to the Sunday session.

Some idiot just jumped out of the window (on one of the lower floors), and has been taken off in an ambulance. It's the morning! t's the type of thing that would be more explainable if it was the evening and they were drunk.

We did consider going up on the balcony last week to shoot the badminton players, as they hadn't even let us know they were taking the room. My bow was in the storage cupboard, however, so I couldn't get to it.

Ah see, the cartoon version is so much better than the film oooh exam results.. Nasty. I hate exams they suck big time Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine I very much recommend the men in tights, it's very very good.
Those damn badminton players!!! I think you should pelt them with stones if they do it again. If you can get to your bow, shoot them too!!!!

Back when I used to do archery, it was the karate kids causing havoc. They used to leave their landing mats out, and we had to stack them away before we could shoot. That usually took half an hour, the mats weighed half a ton each and we were so knackered after we didn't have the energy to shoot

Not that I ever had much energy to shoot anyway.

Oh, and while I'm here, another vote for Men in Tights... the film that is

Stupid badminton/karate/fencers. They should clear up not have competitions/after themselves/find their own room.

Looks like I'll have to watch Men in Tights then.
