Hey my are feeling left out!

I have developed a strange ambition to own, (wait for it!) chickens..

What other pet feeds you? whilst remaining alive it's self!

Z-you`re never left out.Good pt.? Which other animals besides chickens,are used as food?? There must be others(I suppose honey doesn`t count) not the chickens themselves,mind you-the eggs are the case in point here.As is honey,not the same as eggs.If Gary wasn`t shouting in delight at the new episode of 'South Park' I might be able to concentrate...N

I have been known to view South Park. I cannot help but laugh! Sort of like laughing at a funeralBecause I do not have kids, I get tickled at their cussing and the cafeteria guy that advises them.There are a few social lessons in them!

Same with the real Slim Shady for example. Love that song and a few others. I am also nauseated by a couple.
I have some Entertainment guiltfrom enjoying their talents.
Oh yeah & Woody Allen too.

Not enough to stop enjoying them!

Well,not to jump into a 4-day old conversation or anything~~~ but I animals;much more a than person,but I favor hairy dogs- Northern breeds,Samoyeds/Norweigen Elk Hounds/Husky`s/dogs,in short,not suited to So.Calif.temps.The thing about cat`s is the purring-the purring & the general ability to leap up onto yr. lap,whildst purring,is irrestible to me.Never bought a cat-they`ve always sought me out.A dog tho,that`s a mate for life!! When we`re at Lou`s(in Ventura w/Brit&Robert&their mates)there`s a cat named 'gypsey'who`s purred her way into Lou`s life.She`s an adorable calico-the combination of orange/white/brown is enchanting~& she scares me to death when I`m on their computer,& she suddenly leaps onto my lap-or the keyboard-from nowhere.She`s decided Gary`s too loud--& much too loud in his affectionate overtures to her(she DOES`T like be-ing picked-up,thank you so much).I think because Robert,Brit,& myself are only`s,& we do tend to be comfortable w/silence;& aren`t too terribly loud ourselves~that we`re her favorites.Of course Lou too~she`ll come inside & claw the bback of a comfy chair to death,& he`ll just say"well,that`s 8 yrs.old".+she dines on tuna(they don`t eat red meat);& regularly brings back dead birds--to show her love for Lou & co.But,give me a Samoyed anyday,(please!) Gary longs for an Australian sheep dog,the type one must exercise for miles,daily.The family-who co-habitate-have a Rottweiler& a Retriver(sp)-so I`ve been hesitant to bring a puppy into the mess.+the neighbor,down the road,has dogs,cats,a peacock,llamas,goats,& something else I`ve forgotten--but her latest acquisition(sp) a pit-bull,is a nasty bit of business.Unfortunately,my 1/2 nephew has pushed her over the edge,as far as getting-along goes.She calls the pb.her'protection'-*sigh* it`s so beautifull here,there aren`t that many old-growth Redwoods around anymore,& we`ve 7 acres,total.You`d think 3 households could get along...Well that`s human-history in a nutshell,isn`t it?
