Gah, one head shot? I had three close- range head shots in quick succession, along with disturbingly close (but thankfully distant enough not to send my into that special state which only men can know) groin shots.

Plus a matrix-esque close- range mid air (whilst diving past each other) shootout, which left me with a line of big, black bruises bisecting one side of my body from the other.

And one which hit me directly on the mouth grille, bursting and spraying a mixture of paint and soap into my mouth. That stuff doesn't taste nice.

I couldn't make a journal post ...so I only made a journal entry.

Please read my recent journal entry.

...also, "hello!" ...and "I hope you are doing well."

My website is http://www.angelfire.com/hero/alynnaserenity

I have posted a page of photos, which also includes one of myself.

Now I am being modest, so I will say that this photo of me does succeed in showing that I have a fabulous smile.

smiley - smiley

My website is a hobby of mine, so it always evolves or is augmented (or is changed). I will be adding more photos. I will add more photos of myself, photos of different landscapes, perhaps of other people, and pictures that I create.

Well...

I leave for now because I am on my parent's household computer which ONLY has a dial-up connection and ONLY uses the NetScape search engine that is outdated. So, I am on a computer that is obsolete because it can't sail these waters of the Internet. Although...

I, overall, like this computer that I am using. It is serviceable. Well, somewhat serviceable since this computer's server won't let me make an h2g2 journal post in my space.

I wish you a Happy upcoming New Year.

I am back again ...but the third time is perfectly acceptable. smiley - smiley

For this upcoming New Year I have learned how to spell tsunami.

I wonder what fabulous thing you will learn?

Also, I am now reading Socrates Discourses (written by, the famous enough, Plato). I have learned that I like Socrates' reasoning. He mostly best articulates what I've already intuitively felt. I sometimes think that I lack words to describe the ideas that I have in my head (believe me or not ...LOL), or that I can't communicate correctly. I wonder what philosopher's ideas you like or what ideas were always your principles but just not expressed in words?

Well...

bye for now!

Greetings Sir Temporal Logic! smiley - smiley

I made another guide entry. It is called, "Perseverance and Resolution". Read it please. I can't update my journal now because I am barred (forbidden) by my father's workplace server that my parents' home computer is hooked up to ...dammit!

Well, I am glad that you've survived to be in the New Year. Good for you! ...Well, I don't know if you're still alive because you lasted communicated with me in the Old Year of 2004.

You're the strong plucky type. So, I believe that I will hear your response soon. smiley - biggrin

Last night, on December 31st, I watched "Merlin". That is a grand fabulous movie ...absolutely awesome! My mom and I both watched this movie, and she loved it as much as I already do. Oh please tell me you know about this movie. If not, "Merlin" was made in 1998 and stars Sam Neill as Merlin (you should see it smiley - smiley)

I hope that you've been making Christmas music (...you play the guitar and that is fabulous, although I never heard you play) to keep yourself cheered during the holidays. I also hope that you are not depressed and I hope that you've been keeping your level of cynical badness to a moderate level. Well, I hope you've been maintaining optimism and that you have enough of it for the Fresh New Year.

May you keep surviving.

I hope to hear from you.

smiley - cheers

I shall have a look when time allows me...

I'm still alive. Still holding on smiley - winkeye

I have seen Merlin, it is indeed very good smiley - smiley

Don't worry, I'm still keeping a healthy level of cynicism, but I haven't actually played teh guitar much this season. Too much eating and sleeping getting in the way.

Speak soon smiley - smiley

There is hope for you yet. LOL smiley - smiley. You have seen Merlin and you liked the movie. Good for you!

Merlin is one of my favourite movies. Actually, in the category of *Imagination*, the story of Merlin is my 1st favourite movie.

When I watched Merlin, I simply thought the movie had all the elements from imagination. I've also read the stories that the movie is based on, and I liked them.

The ending to "Merlin" was endearing to me. But I actually forgot the ending before my mom and I watched it. I forgot how Merlin and Nimue finally came together. When my mom and I watched Merlin, I kept telling her (as a bad habit of mine, which I try to restrain) that there is nothing but brutal bloody war throughout the movie. However, my mom fortunately stayed to watch all of the movie to find out the end. The ending was happy after all. smiley - smiley

I liked Frick, the Tall Gnome, and how (after he was discharged from Queen Mab's employment) he joined King Arthur's army to fight Mordrid's army. Years later, when Merlin was an old man, Frick was also considered to be Merlin's dear friend. I also liked the scene when Frick, after Merlin finished narrating the story (to the kids as the audience and not to us), showed Merlin *Sir Rupert the horse*. To that Merlin said, "Sir Rupert, aren't you supposed to be dead?!" and Sir Rupert, Merlin's horse and friend, said "There's some magic in me yet." Most of all I liked how Merlin and Nimue finally came together and no longer yearned for each other's company.

***I prattle on and on like a chickadee bird. But forgive me for this since I only do this not so often. smiley - smiley***

I hope you play your guitar sometime. *gives thumbs up sign*

Speaking of Sleeping and Eating:

I have been eating well (though not getting fat), and I have been sleeping on the couch in my parents' "living room". I don't know what you, in England, call that place. Maybe you call this room, the Guest Room.

I've been sleeping on the couch (with my plush, yellow, toy duck wearing a green ribbon bow) because I can't sleep in the basement where my parents have my actual room set up. Winter makes the basement too damned cold! LOL.

>>>But I never said that I don't like sleeping on the couch. smiley - smiley<<<

I've been sleeping well except there is one problem. Not due to the actual couch, but the damned furnace blows dry dusty air throughout the house. The furnace needs to be cleaned (Ah yeah.)

I've been surviving. I sometimes wake up with an allergic reaction to the dry dusty air. The skin around my eyes gets puffy, but the slight swelling subsides after I wash my face.

Overall, I've been enjoying myself during the Christmas Holidays.

>>>For Christmas: I got a ski snowsuit (so that I can stay out longer in the cold ...Whooo Ha!), clothes, and a plush yellow toy duck.
>>>I also received CDs of Christmas Carols -- including "Finding Neverland" soundtrack. I also got money as a gift, and a glittering sliver necklace with Amythust crystal as its bobble

>>>Subsequently: I bought SpaceBalls, The Black Stallion, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (they are movies) with some of the money that I got for Christmas

I hope that you have received a gift of any sort during the Christmas Holidays. I hope that you have received Goodwill and Cheer during the holidays.

Well, "over and out", I sign off.

smiley - cheers

I had a strum yesterday and today... haven't lost it smiley - winkeye

Sounds like you recieved some nice things! I got a digital camera for my main present, which is good!

I've got Spaceballs. It's quite good. Don't have Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but I've seen it, and that's also good. I still like the fact that it was written by Ian Flemming.

Same hopes to you,

Good for you! You are playing the guitar, at last. smiley - smiley

I have no idea what your playing sounds like. Is there any way (Can you make one?) for you to send me bytes of your music?

You mentioning the digital camera that you got has reminded me that I also received a camera. But in my case, I got a Pentax shutter camera -- not a digital camera.

My parents first bought this camera to take pictures of me. Now, 24 years later, (I just turned 24 on December 17th) I received this camera for me to take pictures. This camera is as old as I am; and I am proud of it. smiley - smiley

***I have named the camera "Perseverance" because it has survived as long as I have. LOL.***

Ah, so you've seen SpaceBalls? Good for you! I first saw SpaceBalls when I was five years old. My guy friend at the time said, "Leiann, do you want to see a movie with a guy in it eating chopped chicken that looks like Barf? ...And his name is Barf." I said, "Okay!"

I liked the movie since the first time I watched it.
Now, I own the DVD of SpaceBalls because 1) I came to the Shoppers Drugmart store, 2) I saw it, and 3) I bought it at the fair price of $9.99. With tax, the kill did not cost me an arm and a leg but cost $10.69.

***Tax is 7% to the dollar. One dollar and 7 cents. smiley - cheers***

I have an acquisitive nature. I buy to satisify loves of mine ...except one (and you can infer that I do not buy sex. LOL) My love of stories is why I buy movies. I buy books and movies.

I like to own movies, or keep the story on hand in my personal care instead of renting the movie. I don't like renting movies because I think renting is like renting a prostitute (LOL! Just follow my line of thought). Renting a movie cassette and a DVD (that corporal medium) is like renting a prostitute. So, you don't know who has handled it (for instance the prostitute) before you, and sometimes you get it in a bad abused condition which you didn't expect as your money's worth. I sound callous but I am a funny girl. LOL smiley - smiley. Well, Socrates wouldn't have liked me for speaking like this. I would have to guess that Socrates would have considered my last comment very callously said. Socrates said that, as reference to those people who see only dollars and cents, "They are very bad company, for they insist on measuring the value of things in terms of wealth." Or he wouldn't have liked those people who do not appreciate the humanity of the prostitute, or he wouldn't have even liked those who don't rent movies because doing that would be like touching disease for their money's worth.

***I am reading Socrates Discourses right now, and I think that man was marvelously intelligent and wise. smiley - cheers Well, I think that he was an awesome dude ...despite his homosexual philanderings. I say that he is overall forgivable since he lived as he taught. I give him acknowledgment for doing his best to be an example of Justice.***

Alrighty then...

You keep surviving. I will check out your website soon. But you won't hear from me until after January 5th. You may not miss me, but that is your loss. LOL smiley - biggrin. I will be back.

(I present myself often, and so I need to ask more questions of what the other person has been up to.)
