The town is waterlogged today-sandbags everywhere-and I have my own lake at the front door.
My puss and I shall have to invest in a small boat. We can then row to the garden gate.

Oh dear! Hope Wookie's donned his life-jacket. We're OK here - in fact it's been quite pleasant, we had sunshine this morning though the air's been quite cold all day so once the sun disappeared it was nippy this afternoon.Hope your spiders can swim. Watch out for

Hello MJ,
I rather like the sharks. Wookie loves water and is quite happy to sit outside in pouring rain!! We have had such a storm here about an hour ago. Hopefully the spiders have scuttled away to safety. Or have they taken refuge in my house? Eek.

Good morning MJ,
I was just becoming a little used to housing numerous spiders, but now I am bit worried. Maybe these spiders are far more clever than we already know they are . First the smaller sized spiders move in to one's home(I think that they are living happily behind the piano). And when they get comfy, they send for their large cousins-like the one in the photo!! I shall be drawing the line there. And besides, there is little enough room for Wookie and me(and several house spiders).Shall I send the extended family to you?
