Sounds painful, yes you bet it was. There I was seeing to my family's garden when I stuck the pitchfork right through my left foot. Two days in a hospital and one nasty tetanus booster jab later they sent me home in a taxi. My foot is now heavily bandaged and I have to hop if I want to go anywhere. I'm lucky my dad has the time to drop me off every day or I wouldn't be able to come to h2g2 (and that would be a shame) .Argh my foot is still killing me even though I did it last Wednesday. Please provide support (or I'll fall over).

Just thinking about that makes my foot hurt, tell me though, what were you doing with the pitchfork so close to your foot, with enough force to go through your foot?

Digging up clay, it was our old patio. It sounds stupid but the closer you dig to you the easier it is. I think its to do with your weight being directly above the digging point.

Yeah its easier when your closer, i was just courious. hope your foot starts to feel better. Are you on crutches they would help you walk instead of hopping.

Its a bit hard to get up stairs with crutches, I just hope no-one comes round the corner whilst I'm hopping up the stairs. I bet it looks silly to other people.

Lots of stairs huh? my campus is pretty flat for the most part and I live on the first floor of my dorm so i don't have to walk up and down that many stairs
