When I wrote an article on Friday Aug. 13 and posted to AWW I had no idea what was Charley doing in Florida.
But nobody else really expected the rapid change from category 2, to category 4 hurrican with 145 mph wind.
This was a big error,because perhaps would have been better preparation for the storm.
My heart goes out for those people, who are in a terrible situation now.
I know that area, used to have many happy times in Sanibel Island.
Also 17 deaths in these days are just to many.
This is from Blue Bird (aka Gecko) mostly writing in h2g2.
I'll visit collective more often. Promise.

This note was posted in collective. I have no idea, how this mix up happening? I definetely wanted to write on the pages of collective. But popped up in h2g2. Like to know how things work around here?

If you make a journal entry in h2, it will also appear in the collective site if you are signed up there as well. Your page will appear as a h2g2 page though if that is your default, and I think it gets to be your default if you signed up with it first, but I'm not sure about that. You could get more comprehensive from your ace or you ace can refer you to someone who can explain it better than me.

Thanks Hellboundforjoy! Yes I was registred with h2g2 first. When SSO came I was locked out for 3 months, until Jimster found me.
During the lock out I wondered into Collective and not knowng about it, I was screaming: " I am lost!"

But Lo and Behold I found a very nice, warm acceptence there and my photos are regularly published. Since I am a visual artist this means a lot, because h2g2 does not have the "facility" to show photos and artwork repros as collective does.

Just sent today to collective Editor an interesting photo: The World Trade Center basic construction!!! Nobody would think what would be the horrible end for that monumental human efforts.( Sept.11.2001.) I don't know if the rules and regulations will permit to publish this photo!??

Today got note from Rowan that it is on display my "Dhalias" photo in collective Gallery for this week.
Now as well you can read this also in Collective.~~~~

Wow, that's great you can put your photos up on the Collective. It is too bad imo that you can't post photos on hootoo. But I guess it's just different that way. I'll have to go visit your page on The Collective.

To make it simple and clear Hellboundforjoy:
I send photos through E-mail to Collective's Editor/Producer and she puts on display when is suitable.
Certainly is a great advantage vs. h2g2, where is no such thing for an alien like me.
Though you can make a Web page like Azahar with photos through Fotki (* N.Y.C. based)or see LLLWaz's pictures through Geocity ( Yahoo). I did not do anything yet for Web, happy with Collective as it is now.Collective gives me very nice treatment, so I stick with them.
