It is a very important work of literature coming to England in 1704 after M. Galland translation.
I have a copy which was selected by PADRAIC COLUM and to my greatest enjoyment has an english language totally enjoyable.
For many years this book is a source of delight and best entertainment for me.
But hold your horses! Not so for everybody. In a conversation with Ancient Brit: I got rebuffed, after a little quote from this book, where upon I did a very fast research through Google and there you are: my knowledge grew instantly with many new datas, however I was on the right track to begin with.
For Ancient Brit: thank you for the rejection, it was very helpful for me to look into more details. Hope, that I also can help Ancient Brit to extend his horizon in british history looking back to 1704 when this book appeared for those people, who were looking for something really good stuff.
