in the last 4 month ive heard of 5 of my old mates from the past have died,

now another one as passed on,he was 75 and had dementure, so yes he had a long life. but its making me feel, when will i be the statistic.
-
his name, tony, hubby of a lady from my cb days, used the name, mallard, as hid cb handle, he loved ducks.
-
i heard this morning another old mate as just gone into care, with less than 30% chance of making the end of the year.
-
maybe one of these days, i wont be on hear, and days later, you all might find out some way, i wont be coming back, morbid, yes, but sadly will one day be true.

Jim, I am in the same boat too. Several of my friends have passed on, and it is easy to sink in to that depressive hole, but I am trying very hard to think - every day is precious, make the best of it, and don't worry about the future. None of us know what is in store for us, and it is best that we don't

Some of my friends were too young to go, and that was very hard, but I also have friends in their 90s going strong, so there is hope yet I used to worry about the future, but things are so volatile now that I have given up thinking about it.

Incidentally I haven't heard from Nikita for a while. Perhaps it is my fault as I haven't emailed her either! Time goes so fast these days.

after the second call that my mate george was in a home to, less than 3 days after tony.it sort of hits you, how many will still be out there,

ive always said, if i was to reach 60, ide say i was lucky, if i get to 65,i must be doing something right.

while taliking on the phone to kat the other night, i realised ive never had an operation in my life, unless when i was very young. never a broke bone, only had stitches three times. is it a record of sorts, nearly 62 and no ops lol , jim

all we can do is make the most of what we have at present and enjoy ourselves while we are here. Remember the good times and learn from the bad times.

whats the point of being twentyfive to see, and 50+ or more inside.its just vanity and a totl waste of money, that could be spent o life.
