This was discussed extensively, last week I think, in lil's journal.

I've simply come to the conclusion that I'm bored with using it, so I've replaced it on my About Me. I don't find it offensive or threatening or anything. It's just a bit ubiquitous, so I got bored.

Anyway, I have now changed my viewer tag so newbies can see where it comes from in the Guide

I like to freak out newbies , so I won't change it. But Jab is right, it's a bit ubiquitous. That's a good reason for getting rid of it. But as long as there are folks out there who get scared by it I won't.

I'm not suggesting that we get rid of the Viewer tag....just exercising my inalienable right not to use it....until I change my mind perhaps?

lil - d'you want to ban the Bored smiley as we're not allowed to get bored and thus we could have no possible use for it?

I have never thought of that as a bored smiley before.. I have always used to state I am tired..
