He's pulling the racist card. He assumes since you look middle eastern, that you are and If I marry you you'll put bookie on the street, sell any of our daughters into prostitution, and only keep our sons... I know That's not true and I don't know how he came up with the idea... he told me if I did marry you he'd sue me for custody of Bookie and I'd never see him again.

i'm planning on calling his bluff, he's supposed to be concerned for my happiness anyway. If he does sue me i'll just call my siblings to the stand and play the abuse card.

That's RIDICULOUS!!!! However, having said that, when my (step) dad's grandmother first met my mom and I, she was racist towards us. Of course, my dad has had nothing to do with her since...

I know, he'll just have to get over it though or else miss meeting a lot of grandchildren, not to mention me being happy a lot more often than once or twice a week.
