It's 2am here & I'm going through all the irrelevant stuff that landed on my convo page when I stupidly pressed "notify me of all postings" when I posted something to Ask h2g2 (don't make the same mistake, I was assuming it just meant your own postings, but no, its the whole lot!)
I'm trying to prune it down & reply to any that even faintly interest me before pulling the plug ( I think I've found a way) just in case it all goes horribly wrong & I lose convo's I wanted to save.

Anyway, this should be safe enough on here.
I was in 50 places to see before you die & spotted you on-line so dashed back.
Now I know you're here I'll keep popping back until we bump into each other.

I think the best way to exchange e-mail addresses is by going into your space, editing your page to say the e-mail address and then going back in and deleting it - that way no record of it will be anywhere. It maight be an idea to do it tonight as we are both here at last!

PHEW!!! really. This bloody (now I'll be the one to get yiked!) business with our charming friend really bugged me so I've expended a lot of time & effort on it, but I don't resent it; it's one of the issues I really do have strong views about, but in my usual way I can see both sides of the picture but can't afford to remain sitting on the fence! (what a lovely visual metaphor; I'll write that one down as a cheese-box idea!)
I hope the fuss will die down a bit now, but as I said somewhere, maybe it's a good thing it's now out in the open.
I didn't actually see his posting, it was only today when I went into dogmonkey space that I found out --- UNBELIEVABLE!!! What did you say on your e-mail to the yikers?
Talking of e-things, if you like, when we finish this, I'll put mine on, leave it for 5MINUTES only then wipe all this. That seems to be the only wayto avoid problems,not that I think anyones lurking here but you never know.
Back to my wiping, I'll watch this space!

Stick your e-mail address on your next posting and I'll keep refreshing the page. Blimey, it will all be a lot easier once this is done!

know what you mean about the poxy server, if it happens ,de-connect from the net, then press the back button & try again it seems to work.

I'm now going to print the u-no-wot & wait 5 minutes from the time stated then I'll wipe this whole journal entry.
So copy it down & return back here when you see the journal entry has changed to a spying theme.
