And, Heaven knows, the New Orleans Police are reknowned for their atrict adherence to the law....

I wonder how many Americans are even aware of what is in Bush's PATRIOT ACT. Next to that this Lousiana thing looks like the least of their worries.

Sorry, the acronym is USA PATRIOT and it is known as the Patriot Act. Okay, I know Michael Moore is hardly going to be unbiased reporting but this is a good link.

Even the Patriot Act II doesn't allow for search without warrants on the say so of a single cop who 'feels threatened'
