h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The baby has been crawling and saying mama & dada for almost a month now. And Saturday she added a new trick - she pulled up! She'll be cruising before we know it. While she crawls, she sometimes extends her legs and tries to push up to her feet and ends up doing a bear crawl. She's motivated. She's been cranky the last few days and isn't usually so I checked her mouth yesterday and she finally has a nubbin of a tooth through her bottom gums. She's been trying to get teeth since August, so she'll probably have a whole mouthful by next week.

We bought tools and lumber Saturday for our raised garden bed in the backyard. Got it framed up & partially filled yesterday. Mr. Emee is going to check with a local sod company to see what their prices are for the rest of the dirt. Peanut had a great time using a cup to scoop dirt and put it in the garden even though she didn't really want to get dirty. She's a bit of a priss. I need to find her little shovel & rake that I got last year. Next we need to rake up the back yard and set up a compst bin. It's a mess - lots of twigs and small branches from the ice storms and high winds, lots of crunchy leaves - too many leaves to just let them sit on the ground. We need to re-seed under the tree and pull out the dead shrubs in the front yard. I love spring.
