One minute you're working in London with decent money, a flat, friends, and a life basically. The next next minute you're back in Edinburgh, on the dole. Have you ever noticed that? I just noticed it there.

Hi guys - it's OK, our whole department was made redundant and we knew about it for ages. My journal entry was slightly toung in cheeck 
In fact right now it feels quite good to be back here - for a while anyway.
I was in Pescara for 3 weeks Greta but I was there with the family so I couldn't come and visit you in Trieste. But next time I'm in Italy I will come and visit - I promise!

Do come Glad you're OK though, I was a bit worried. Let the summer pass, September will bring new jobs for all (well, I hope so cos mine is driving me up the wall.)

Thanks Greta. By the way I'm learning Italian (again). I always get motivated when I go, so let's hope this time I get through the pain barrier and learn it properly.
Oh and Vicky I was sorry to hear about your Dad. I read all your entries but often don't get round to replying. Hope you're OK anyway.
Let's hope September brings us all something good
