I had my first speech meet of the year yesterday. It was great to be back to doing what I love most. I competed in extemp and in poetry. We competed in Grand Island, Nebraska. I thought I had done horrible in both events but I apparently didn't to do bad in extemp because I got 8th place out of about 30. Poetry didn't go as well I pretty much sucked that up...oh well. It was a great day and I had a lot of fun!!
