There used to be folks upset at the "God Bless America" that is traditional at the end of US presidential speeches. This is such a huge change, happening so quickly! The congress turn down the law neccessary to start these programs. Dubya is doing it any way!

I believe in God but I also believe in seperation of church and stateas stated in the constitution.

Congress also has asked to vote on the Iraq issue before any large scale operation starts. Dubya has said NO to that. That is also in our constitution.

I don't think that Dubya gives a damn about anyones opinion other than his own. The American Constitution, Congress or the UN. He wants a war so he's going to start one.

His Axis of Evil stance is laughable (the inclusion of Cuba has to be a joke). The rest of the planet (minus Tony Blair) know that he wants a war with Iraq because he wants control of their oil. He wants to merge church and state because that is what his beliefs tell him to do. I suppose it's even more galling for you that the majority of Americans didn't vote for him in the first place!

Oh well, if it's any consolation Blair is dragging us in too, despite the opposition and his own backbenchers disagreeing with him.

Let's hope breaks out soon.
