About five years ago my old car gave up the ghost. As I needed another A.S.A.P for work I ran straight down to an old friends car yard.He showed me two models they had in my price range.

One was a family mover good for six people. The other a four door Toyota. I decided on the four door for two reasons. One;cheaper! It was about $4,000.oo less than the van and two;no kids! With only myself and my wife the Toyota was best.'Bank the money'.I said to myself.

The very first day out I was pulling out of the parking area at work when I heard a sound (Not a loud sound)but one that still plays with my sanity today.

The second it took me to put on the breaks seemed an hour.I jumed out and ran to the other side. There,a metel poll had pierced my new car from just behind the front wheel all the way along the body to the back.

This little thing cost me about $4,000.00 (from the bank) and two weeks later we found that my wife was pregnant with our first of two children. (next time take the bus!)The final irony in this is next month I'll be buying a family mover 'six seater'. stanlyism.
