Solstice greetings all
Who can say it better than Jethro Tull?
Now is the solstice of the year.
Winter is the glad song that you hear.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Have the lads up ready in the line.
Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring Solstice Bells.
Ring, Solstice Bells.
Join together 'neath the Mistle-toe.
By the Holly oak where-on it grows.
Seven Druids dance in seven time.
Sing the song the Bells call loudly chime.
Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring Solstice Bells.
Ring, Solstice Bells.
Ring out. Ring out the Solstice Bells.
Ring out. Ring out the Solstice Bells.
Praise be to the distant sister Sun.
Joyful as the silver planets run.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Sing the song the Bells call loudly chime.
Ring out those bells.
Ring out, ring Solstice Bells.
Ring, Solstice Bells.
Ring out!
Ring out!
Ring out!
Ring out!
Bright blessings,

Actually, that was Noggin's comment about Jethro Tull.
Not that *he* can talk, however (especially after the several glasses of rioja he's polished off tonight . . .)
Also says he hasn't heard of Hobgoblin ale (also is too lazy to turn on his own computer! Hence I am relaying this message).

He hasn't heard of hobgoblin, and he calls himself a welshman. Next he'll be saying he hasn't tried brains.
Are you two coming over in january?
Blessings,
Matholwch /|\.

Um, I don't think he's ever called himself a Welshman (that'll probably have something to do with the fact that he isn't?)

Noggin wants to know if we're still talking about beer or the stuff that comes out of a sheep's head (I blame the ).
No, we aren't going to go to London in January after all. But we are hoping to go in July and also make it to Bristol to visit my dear friend Lizzie there.
Are you guys still coming over this spring?

Not a welshman!! Oh dear, never mind.
We do intend to try and get over to Sevilla in the spring, finances willing. We'll have a chat about it after xmas ok?
Blessings,

Nope, he lived in Wales for about 20 years, but was born and raised in London. Which probably explains why he's never had brains.
Finances, eh? Yeah, that's why I can't go to London right now. Though we might manage an overnight trip to Granada over the holidays and my friend Ricardo has invited us to his newly-renovated 'rustic' mountain home in Jabugo one weekend (hoping to do this on my birthday).
Well, off to bed soon. Spent the evening 'tapearing' and must get up early . . .
buenas noches,

Belated greetings to you all too.
There are quite a few of us Englishmen who grew up in Wales. I just think of it as a good education! See, I can even mangle the Welsh language beyond the ability of most Englishmen: blwyddyn newydd dda! (OK, a few days early. )
