I don't know. Is it more un-American to have an affair with a Whitehouse intern or to call attention to a presidential affair during a 'time of war'?

You're right. It would be frivolous in these circumstances (not that it wasn't frivolous six years ago).
I'm just sad he can't be sued for the things he's already done.

I don't know. The whole sordid mess is pretty depressing. I recently read General Romeo Dalaire's book about the Rwandan genocide in which he points out the extent to which the Clinton-Lewinski scandal overshadowed the tragic events in Africa.
