Having to apologise for someone else's failings and insulting behaviour

I have for some time being trying to stop Justin insulting many people who have been trying to have a reasoned, intelligent argument with him. Unfortunately, it seems he has developed an arrogance that has clouded his logic towards civil and open discussion where one takes other peoples views, thinks about them and then replies sensibly. He now seems only to spout religious doctrine, absorbed as truth without analysing whether it makes sense or not.

I seem, in some way, to have created a bit of a monster by my explanation of Justin in my space. In many ways the discussion within the Christianity conversation has now turned into an attempt to make Justin realise that other peoples beliefs are as valid as his. I can only apologise about this. Many people have tried to make him see sense in the way that he is alienating the very people he is trying to 'preach' to. Maybe it's just the way he is programmed and some people can never change or see reason once they have such strong convictions even if it doesn't seem logical or reasoned.

I am glad people are still trying to make him see sense and adapt the basic human trait of acceptance of other peoples beliefs and while still having unswerving faith in his own convictions. From what I have been reading, as an impartial observer, I do not know whether anyone will be able to. But kudos for carrying on. Taken as a continuing experiment in how fundamentalists can put forward, what they think is, logical argument by only looking at one side of the issue it is fascinating . As we know it is difficult to win against something based on just pure logic taking only one library of information (or 'fact') as there is nothing for the logic to be compared against and, therefore, the logic cannot come up with an opposing argument that would show that they were wrong. This does not show balanced thought processes.

So, once again, whether Justin wants me to or not, I feel I will have to apologise for his behaviour to other human beings who have tried to reason with him.
