Since coming to h2g2 I stuck devotedly to Alabaster, mainly because I hadn't dicovered the posting list and couldn't be bothered to scroll all the way down the page to get my messages. But I was always very good, if another researcher preferred their personal page to be viewed in Classic Goo (Brunel doesn't appear to have caught on so well) I always duly changed over.
While viewing Greebo.T.Cat's page yesterday, who asks you to do this, I discovered that smileys are so much clearer in Goo. Bizarrely, so are the pearlies at the top of my page. It is with this in mind that i change my preferences to Goo and watch with interest to see how i will cope.
One small note: I tried Brunel when it first came out and was delighted to see the clickable smileys box. Why didn't they build this feature into all the skins. We need it!

Woohoo! Another Goo convert! 
The reason the clickable smileys box is only in Brunel is because it was introduced at the same time as the Brunel skin. I'm not 100 certain, but I think it might need a bit of tinkering before it's available in the other skins.
