Fantastic, except it means I won't be able to go on here.
To celebrate, here's my top 5 places to go in Paris:
1. The Stravinsky Fountain in Place Igor Stravinsky. It's near the Centre Pompidou and very wacky. The sculptress, Nikki de Saint Phalle, has a fantastic sculpture park in Italy that I'm longing to go to.
2. Sainte Chapelle. The prettiest church in Paris, downstairs looks breathtaking until you see upstairs...a must for anyone.
3.Ile de la Cite and Ile St Louis. Quaint little islands in the middle of the Seine with lovely little shops.
4.Galeries Lafayette. This famous department store has a breathtaking Belle Epoque stained glass dome. Well worth craning your neck for!
5. The metro. Some of the stations have really gone to town on the decor. Recommended, the Bastille, Louvre and Tuilleries. Someone needs to compile a book.
Is there anywhere you think would be good? Tell me here.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
