I find it disturbing that in this age of laptop computers, instant messaging and SMS phones, not only are people writing less (and by writing I mean pen on paper and not just the creative process that produces "literature") but just getting sloppy with the use of (the english) language.
Chatrooms and internet forums are filled with various crimes and misdemeanors that would make any Elementary English teacher question her /his vocation, if not his/her existence on this planet.
Is it too much to ask for people to go over their messages before hitting "enter" or clicking the "send" button?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
