Reason for my absence

Over the past three years I have been trying to get my family back on our feet after a really rough time with dealing with the death of my father and loss of our house. I am about to finish the last move, which is the fourth move in the last three years that I have made. This time I was able to get out of renting a home and bought a home in the Rochester suburbs.

I see your 'eyes' open here. And only just now saw this journal. I am sorry to hear that you've had such a rough patch. Are things improving at all, mate?

Thanks for your concern. Things have been improving a lot. I have picked up most of the pieces and now we are on the upward road.

Upward is good, so long as it isn't all and always uphill.
That dang near sounded profound !!! I must have had too much fresh air today.
