The Quest

I have started something of a quest. Our sprog is just 18 months old, but the height and weight of your average 2 + year old (15kg and tall). This has caused a few problems on the pram/buggy front as she now weighs more than our current lightweight one can take and I can't lift the heavier ones because of my back.
I am now spending my nights, trawling the internet in search of a lightweight (under 8kg), easily transportable buggy to replace the one she has outgrown. The only kind that fit the bill are the aluminium framed three wheeler jogger type ones meant for hiking up mountains!
So far I have found only one, which weighs in at 6kg and costs a hefty £259 plus postage! Have I got the biggest (and most costly) baby in the world or something? She is beautifully proportioned, and very pretty... just too flippin' tall for her age!
Maybe I should stop feeding her and tie some weights to her head to slow down the growth spurts?

It looks like we will be too, the one I want is a three-wheel mountaineering special! One good idea though... My in-laws are in New Zealand, where the one I want comes from. With the exchange rate very much in our favour, it will probably be cheaper for us to send them the money and get them to buy it over there and fed-ex it to us!
Damn inventive eh?
