h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

What an evening. As it was chucking it down with rain we moved the fight rehearsal to a small village hall a couple of miles down the road from the castle.

The Welsh skirmishers set to work in seperate corners of the hall before we all join up to finish work on the ambush. All great fun.

Off we set, the front group leading the way. A few seconds in and I go for the English guardsman with an overhead blow.

*Flash, Bang, Smoke, Tinkle. *

Guess who's forgotten about the strip lighting and swung her sword with slightly too much enthusiasm. Just as the director walks in through the hall doors.

Ooopppss!!!!

I couldn't even hide for a bit to regain normal colouring as I had to go and surpress a mob.

I just hope it stops raining for Sunday, I'm not fighting inside again!

Poor Odo!!

And I get told off for making a mess and being careless. Humph!

I'm a walking dissaster, and the explosion put me off my stroke for the rest of the evening, I didn't want to go and do it again.

I'm not going to live this one down in a hurry.

I was getting into the spirit of the preformance. I was launching an attack and had fogotten about the beams on which the lights are attached.

At least I swept it up.

I know of at least one who won't let you
live it down!!!

To be honest I can think of several. Hootoo is like that.

The cast will be even worse though.

At least it wasn't the Bellths!!!

I suppose it could have been worse Odo...not sure quite how yet...but it could have been worse!

At least I only took the one light out.

Not a very sucessful evening, but never mind.
