Rain And Strawberry Facts

Raindrops are not actually pear/tear-shaped!
Raindrops less than 1mm in radius remain spherical due to the water's surface tension being stronger than the air resistance and up to 4mm in radius they become more squashed, because the air resistance becomes more of a factor.
Over 4mm in radius, the raindrop forms a mushroom shape with a hollow 'stalk' where the force of the air tunnels into the raindrop.
In medieval times, strawberries were thought of as aphrodisiacs and newly-weds were served a soup of strawberries, borage (a plant with blue flowers) and sour cream for breakfast.
