I think that modern society is becoming over-medicated. I went to the doctor for a bad case of the flu on Wednesday, and he have me pills for my headaches, anti-inflammatory pills, cold medicine, and pills for my stomach because the cold medicine was likely to upset it. I took them all the first night and actually felt worse because I was so drugged up. My fiancee avoids medicine if at all possible. She thinks that we are far too dependent on medicine, and thus loosing our natural ability to fight of disease. All I want is to get over this alwful flu.
