Somethings wrong with my cat Tiggy, again. Let him in at about 6pm, and instead of heading for the evening meal of dry biscuits, he walked around yowling for a while.

Picked him up, headed back to sit in front of the PC with him in my lap. Because he only recently had a problem with his urinary equipment, I had a press around of the old left hand side. Only to elicit a rather painful noise from him, and a strange holding of the left leg. And he was rather limp.

So now, he is being taken off to the vet. I am not there because if it is the same thing all over again, and the potential vet bills are the same level (last time they were £700 PLUS) he will have to be put down.

There is nothing more I can say. He might be coming home, he might not.

But it's not even that, is it?

It's because the vet bills are closer to £700/£800 and we can't afford them!

Slightly different.

I lost my Camille a few weeks before Tom and I got married--a little before my dad died, actually. Made it harder, not being able to curl up with her and cry... I'd had her 9 years, ever since she was born in my bedroom. We had to put her to sleep, because she was in extreme pain from arthritis. What made me feel really bad is that she'd been crying with pain for a long time, but we didn't realize that that's what it was--she'd always been a 'talker', and would almost always 'talk' louder while being petted anyway... She was a character... *reminiscing half-smile*

Things aren't good. But better than I thought it would be. He's alive anyway...
